no it is not obliged but it would be nice if she did that. How the husband looks sometimes reflects on the wife. sad but true. If the husband goes to work or out with wrinkles and/or dirty dingy clothes on, then it reflects on the wife. Oh I know I will get the thumbs down on this answer. lol

From what I know, the wife is not obliged to do anything other than have intercourse with her husband since the point of marriage is to keep both man and woman from committing adultery. It is out of the love and respect you have for one another that you do things for each other because it is union.
