Am I doing something wrong?

I have a teacher who always goes around me when handing tests, I am the last one to get one even though I am first.

She doesn't look at me while she is speaking to the class, instead she avoids any eye contact until I look away from her. I know this because I see it in my peripheral vision.

She only asks me hard questions in front of the class, while I am making a speech she interrupts me with those.

She makes grimaces at me and recently she invaded my personal space by sitting in the desk next to me, so she would grade during speechs.

I admit I am a shy person and I never give my input when she's in front of class, but I do talk to her when she's talking to me. I also like to go last in everything and she literally has to call me to get up.

Should I act really friendly towards here and kill her with kindness? I said hello to her when she walked into the class, that took her aback.

I believe she is impressed w/ your intelligence and wants to hold you to a higher standard because she doesn't want you to slack off because your peers might.

She definitely respects you more w/ all that attention. She always wants to challenge you and include you to overcome your shyness or at least get practice.

This sounds like a form of psychological bullying, something you should not have to endure, especially from a teacher!

Being shy or reserved does not make you a bad person or a bad student and your teacher should not be punishing you for not being outgoing or lacking charisma.

I'd recommend speaking to your parent(s) about this or in confidence to your school nurse/psychologist if you have one.

ask her. she most likely won't get you in troucle if you ask her respectfully. and if she does explain to the person in charge of like detention or whatever what you said and how its no disrespectful. When you are asking this teacher why tell all of those things you feel she has been doing

ignore the old female dog, and let her grade u FAIRLY. if she is somehow unfair, go speak with her and if she doesn't change, you go talk to her superior. OR u can take what she gives u and move on

I like the verse in the the Bible that says.....For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee. Prov. 25:22...............yes be nice.

nfd?/div>

shes being a horrible old witch. shes singling yopu out tell someone and make sure to try and make her lose her job. techers arnt people. trip her up shes a discrece.

Shes a teacher - they're just evil. Try making friends - if not, just try stay on her good side - volunteer to hand the sheets out - you'll get one first that way too

Interesting pedicament,, even if you are shy, I don't know your age, but, I would suggest to be up front about it. Knowledge is better than guessing right. good luck

offer input and volunteer to good early

You may remind her of someone else, or she may have somehow knew your parents. People are strange and it's not worth figuring out. You said you like to go last, so at least one of the things she is doing is working in your favor. Killing her with kindness is great, but give it up if she just gets worse. It's only for a few more months, try to talk to one of your classmates to get their opinion. Maybe one of your classmates will help you out, like you give some kind of sign to get them to get the teachers attention off of you. Good Luck! I am asking a question about a teenager, would be great if you looked it over. advice for rude neighbor. Thanks!

Thanks for your advice! Not much I can do ; )

How do you know death is bad if you

No need to rush, we'll all find out someday, just saying...

Death is a paradox in my mind. I know it will be either nothing (and nothing to worry about) or something (and so I live on in some form). Either way, there's a benefit to both and yet Woody Allen said it best. "I'm not afraid of death. I just don't want to be there when it happens." My sentiments exactly. Maybe without death, we'll never learn to truly live?

Some say death is but the next big adventure. The fact is, no-one has really died for a stubstantial period of time, then come back alive to tell the living what it was like. Except Jesus, but unfortuanately he was just a carpenter, not a writer. Theres no guarentes with death, but with life your guarrented death.

I think death is only scary if you're not ready to let go of this life that you have lived. The sum of our existence is our experience, to imagine the non-existence of that experience is even worse than hell, that's actual eternal death.

There's nothing 'bad' about death; I don't mind the idea of it at all.

I think it'd be similar to having to leave a good movie half way through.

~

Life is all there is, death is nothing.

Well most people who have lived have died and I never hear them complaining so it can't be that bad

Death is bad because it involves losing someone you love. That's never good.

Phl 1:21 For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.

That's a very good point.

I just really like being alive and I always like it more when I think of the alternative.

You can feel a sense of something, such as a sense of fear, fear is bad?

There is no death. Death was defeated at the cross.

I don't think people are necessarily frightened of death... it is more the method of passing.

Who ever said death was bad

Death is a saviour, not a punishment.

But still, lets raise hell on earth why we have the chance! LOL.

xxx

I have seen it happen to others.

Death can be good or bad....depends where you're going...Heaven or Hell.

death is bad because you no longer exist

I'll let you know when it happens.

Ja.

Do you think its really worth it?

Should i lie to my parents to see a guy? he is not my boyfriend and he is older. but my parents know nothing about him and i can't even tell them about him We only txt but its a lot and stuff. So i am supposed to sneak out at night. and i can't do that.

but i told him to come early and i can just tell my parents i am riding my bike. and then meet him. Do you think its worth this?

like i am like thinking of everything that can go wrong. like if my parents find out or anything? lol

just lie,a dn if they ask, say it wan'st intentional, u were out riding, and bumped into him.

If this is someone you don't really know personally, I wouldn't take the risk. There are a lot of crazy people out there that can do you some serious harm.

If you know him well and think you can live with your parents backlash if they find out then just be safe.

not worth it. save yourself the trouble. if your gut is telling that it is wrong then do not do something you will regret. this guy obviously wants to play on you vulnerability

if you have met him before yeah :D if you havent nope. have fun!

Would you ever do every little thing you are told to do to survive if you were

No. Because I am not a slave and never will be. It is not possible either. To anyone or anything. The tighter the grip the more squeezes out the sides. If they opened their fist there is very little actually left. Being trapped is an illusion. People just give up because they are lazy.

Practicing Shaman... quantum physics rocks.

Yes, aside from hurting other people or killing them. I wouldn't do anything that would violate another person's rights.

Other than that, I think the will to survive is pretty strong. You may even have to violate your own moral code at some point. You do this with the hope that one day you may escape, or better yet, overthrow your oppressor and free everyone else. There will be time later to ponder on the things you had to do and come to terms with them, but at least you will be "free" and alive to do so.

We each do what we must. Hopefully for the greater good.

Probably not, but it would depend on the quality of my "enslaved" life and the "little things' I'd have to do to survive.

Life for the sake of surviving is not enough for me. If there is no quality of life, I'd just as soon not be here.

Absolutely not...in d such a case, I'd welcome death, first. And courageously, though it may frighten me...

F u c k no! I'd rather die than be enslaved to a cause I don't believe in, by people who think they're so much better than the rest o the human race.

xxx

I would do everything I could do to ESCAPE... More like Forest Gump, RUN FOREST RUN...AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd do it but all the while I'd be thinking of a way to get out by any means necessary.

I've never met a slave so I don't know?

How far could..........?

a nun chuck norris

Not far enough to suit me. I'm sick to death of sharing this planet with him.

What did Jesus mean in John 8: 56?

"Your Father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad."

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Isaac was a type of Christ.

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:

19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

That is the way he "saw" Christ's day.

I always enjoy Adam Clark on verses that are vague.

Joh 8:56

Abraham rejoiced to see my day - Or, he earnestly desired to see my day; , from , very much, and , I leap - his soul leaped forward in earnest hope and strong expectation that he might see the incarnation of Jesus Christ. The metaphor appears to be taken from a person who, desiring to see a long-expected friend who is coming, runs forward, now and then jumping up to see if he can discover him. There is a saying very like this in Sohar Numer fol. 61: Abraham rejoiced because he could know, and perceive, and cleave to the Divine Name. The Divine name is Yehovah; and by this they simply mean God himself.

John 8:56

Abrahamyour 'father'with jubilant faith looked down the corridors of history and saw my day coming. He saw it and cheered." -the message

John 8:56

Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad." -NIV

Abraham looked toward the day that Jesus would be born and rejoiced when it came

Abraham believed in Jesus in Genesis 15. Then was it accounted to Abraham for righteousness.

The only way to be saved is by believing in Jesus alone for salvation, without adding ANY of your own works:

Romans 4:5 "But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."

Salvation is a free gift.

Abraham, whose mortal life antedated that of Jesus by nearly two millenniums, saw in vision the ministry of Christ and rejoiced in the knowledge that salvation and redemption would come in and through our Lord's atoning sacrifice. Undoubtedly this was recorded in some ancient scripture now lost to the knowledge of men. From the writings of Paul we know that Abraham had the gospel (Gal. 3:8), and from the account in the Book of Abraham we learn that Jehovah appeared to Abraham and gave him both gospel and priesthood promises.

Jesus was referring to the visions of Abraham from God, where Abraham was SHOWN the future generations to come....

Verse 58 is the answer. He was (came into existence) before Abraham was born. I guess he heard it from God Himself. He is the " I am" of this chapter.

Abraham looked forward to redemption through Him.

When Christ was born, Abraham celebrated in Heaven...

He left a subliminal message:

"LOL they'll believe in this".

Is it lame to send someone a

There's a guy I like at school and I just found out his myspace profile, so I want to send him a message telling him I like him and to see if he is interested. I'm not gonna ask him out or anything I just wanna know if he is gay (I'm a guy) and if he is single. Is it okay to do this via myspace or should I face him in real life and ask?

It's ok to send a secret admirer letter if you're in the fourth grade, otherwise isn't not productive. If you send it anonymously, you won't be able to find out if he likes you or not, and he's not likely to disclose that he's gay to a stranger. If you're telling him it's you, I think you could send him a straight forward note or tell him your feelings in person. But beware, if you're not out, this WILL out you. Good luck.

Definitely don't. I know this sounds horrible, but you're still in school (I'm guessing high school). For all you know, he could use it against you in any way. He could show all your friends, everyone in the whole school, makes millions of copies of it, it's not worth it. If you wanna know, it's up to you to ask him in person.

no sir dont do it!

its not really lame; its more just not a good idea.

like that one guy said, your crush could use it against you. there are just too many ways for things to go wrong if you use that route.

i would try to find out through his friends. that's probably the safest thing to do.

oh! here is one kind of, "investigatory", thing you could do. On their myspace profile, look for their orientation. if it is not visible, there is a chance that this person is not straight.

(where i live, being LGBT is frowned upon. so on my myspace, instead of saying that i am gay, i just put, 'no answer.')

good luck!

You should try to find out via his friends

you can't tell by the way he is whether he is gay or not?

does he hang around with lot of girls? does he dress like every other guy? is there any sign of him being gay?

dont send email he could use it to out you.....to the whole school family members etc..... If your not worried about that then go for it.

No that would be sweet!

If anyone did that to me they would automatically earn extra points.

...and yes there is a point system.

lol

Why do some people get so emotional at the movies?

I know they could be sad or dramatic, but who really wants to cry in public for a movie, even if its a really good one?

I cry if I'm moved. What does it matter to anyone but me?

There is always something to criticize for people who looking to criticize. : (

...just possibly the movie hit a nerve that related to an incident in their own life...

...either, sad, happy or shocking...

Can you imagine a girl with the name Adel?

umm...that's my cousin's name and she's really pretty :) lol her name makes me think of sophistication.

Of course it sounds cute. It sounds like a bible or European name. Oh I know maybe a Jewish name? I dunno but yeah I would totally name my daughter that. Thanks for the idea.

I like it alot. I heard that name recently from the singer from Britan I think and she sings really pretty.

yes, but its not a very nice name, u didn't reli expand the question, y do u want to know?

thats ugly and stupid.. honestly lol not trying to be mean

Spiritually Speaking, pokemon or yu-gi-oh?

If I'm right in this, because I don't know much about either,

yu-gi-oh because in pokemon the pokemon are caught and put in tiny little poke-balls. Not very nice. Animal/ pokemon freedom!!

And i've also played yu-gi-oh, and it's fun. :P

Definitely Yu-gi-oh, I loved that show..... it had a lot of spiritual stuff that I related to eg past lives um, channeling, intuition, removing the ego from the person who is trying to evolve... the spirit of the cards just like your tarot/angel/oracle cards they all have an energy... um removing negativity from your life.. though it was great lol.

Yu-gi-oh

It's even more confusing than any god i've ever heard of

I'll say Pokemon, because Pikachu totally kicks butt.

Pokemon! :D

I'm going to have to say chaotic, it's a little bit more bearable than the rest.

i honestly got swept up in the yu-gi-oh craz and i thought it was really fun

They both suck

About how many gays are there in the US

And are these numbers increasing, decreasing or essentially unchanged from a decade ago?

I would think, there are the same amount of gay men, but now, more gay men are %26quot; out %26quot; as it%26#039;s more acceptable now than it used to be.

Depends on the population more than anything I think.

If the population goes up, the number of homosexuals goes up.

If the population declines, the number of homosexuals will also most likely decline.

10% is a common figure thrown around, I feel it%26#039;s a pretty good guess. It%26#039;s hard to get an exact number because people could easily lie about their sexuality when asked.

I%26#039;m not sure but the population of gays rises steadily proportional to the over all population. It will typically gyrate around a 10% overall on demographics.

I don%26#039;t think the numbers are rising. We have always been everywhere, just in the closet. More and more are coming out, but I think there has always been a large number of us everywhere.

About 8 billion.

i don%26#039;t really spend my free time researching on gays

google it

%0D%0A

Will I be born Billy Loomis From Scream whos is Ghostface when I

yes.... yes of course you will

have fun with that

How old are you? Your english vocabulary is like a four year old. I'm guessing you've faked your age, tell you what, ask again with clearer english vocabulary.

two points!!

Will I be born Jon bon Jovi From Bon Jovi when I

Sure why not!

Er... no. He's already having that experience as an expression of Soul, so why would there need to be more than one of him? IF you had wanted that reality, you would've been born as him, not you.

You can keep thinking you'll be born but you'll never be born again.

Jon Bon Jovi will never die.

So, no.

You won't be reborn as him because Bon Jovi is eternal.

1) No

2) if you are reborn, you're reborn as a new infant...not someone who's already been alive for 50 some years

Please don't.

what makes you think you will be born again? O.o

why
